IMGL7860Jonathan is a postdoctoral researcher in the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Northwestern University in the John Rogers Research Lab where his research focuses on soft, bio-integrated functional materials systems for health monitoring, diagnostics, and therapeutics. His research interests include smart materials and structures, neural interfaces, biosensors, wearable devices, and human-machine interfaces. From 2012-2016 he was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Texas at Dallas where he developed soft, shape programmable polymers and electronic systems for biomedical implants and electronic skins. During this time, he also served as a founder and research director of Pascalor Inc, a company that which worked to commercialize flexible temperature and pressure sensors developed during his PhD.
